About Mel

I’m currently an undergrad student studying biomedical science. I have been a tutor for a year now with 3 recurring students all doing their GCSEs. I love being able to teach and show them that studying and learning doesn’t have to be a chore. Reframing the way kids view education is the most important thing to be able to have successful learning (and good grades)

About the lesson

Lessons are typically an hour long but a double session can be booked if need. My lessons are tailored to each individual student based on their learning needs. I prioritise maintenance rehearsal in all of my classes so briefly going over what was taught the previous lesson will always be how I start each session. This gives me and the student a chance to see what may need to be taught again and what wasn’t thoroughly understood. All questions given during lesson lessons are exam style questions in order to prepare students for their GCSEs
