About Pippa

I am a first-year student at the University of Canterbury. I have a love for sports, both coaching and playing, and I love anything to do with books and reading. This is a main reason I want to tutor. I have such a deep love for reading and writing, and to be able to pass that along to people who may not feel the same due to not being understood in school would be so special to me.

About the lesson

Throughout high school, I learned many different ways to explain the same concepts thanks to the many different teachers I had. So my lessons follow a similar structure where I work to find the most effective way to explain something, and then you reinforce it by practising. Lessons are typically 1 hour. I have just begun my tutoring journey, but I do have lots of experience coaching sports, which I have found is similar in many ways.
