About Chun Yin

Hi! I’m currently a Year 13 student studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Computer Science, predicted A*A*A*A. I’ve loved Maths ever since I was little — I even did Olympic Maths from the age of three. Outside of school, I enjoy playing piano (I have an ATCL Diploma) and trombone, and I also play county‑level badminton and U19 rugby. I’ve tutored piano, coached badminton and volunteered at school events, which taught me how to explain things clearly and help others feel confident. I want to tutor Maths, Computer Science and Physics because I know it can seem challenging at first, but with the right guidance it can also become fun and rewarding — and I’d love to help my students see it that way too.

About the lesson

I would first identify the knowledge gap or mistake from my student, then I can focus on their weakness, which I would provide exercises and shortcuts to learn and reduce mistakes. As this helps me and I have seen classmates using this method improve each time. Each of my lessons would be an hour long. I would like to help students who are year 13 or below.
