About Rexa Mikylla

As a dedicated violin teacher, I combine musical training with a personalized, patient and systematic approach. With experience in orchestral performance and teaching, I help students develop strong fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and genuine appreciation for music in a supportive learning environment.

About the lesson

I am a passionate and dedicated violin teacher with years of experience in both performing and teaching. I began studying the violin seriously in Grade 7 (2016) as a scholar at an Art School, where I continued my training until Grade 10. During this time, I had the opportunity to perform with orchestras and eventually became a 2nd Violin Principal which entitled me to teach and work with young violinists in an Orchestra, while I continuously developed my skills under the guidance of my seniors, specialists, and personal violin teacher.

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which has further helped me understand how children learn, develop, and respond to different teaching approaches. I apply what I learn in Psychology to my violin lessons by adjusting my teaching methods according to each student’s learning pace, attention span, and individual needs.

My goal as a teacher is not simply to teach students how to play the violin, but to help them develop proper fundamentals, become confident musicians, and enjoy the process of learning music. Whether a student is just starting out or wants to improve their existing skills, I aim to create a patient, encouraging, and structured learning environment where they can continuously grow.
