Doctorate in History from University of Oxford, teaching History and religious studies, as well as providing university application support. Helping students find study techniques that work for them

Since Elena has started tutoring my daughter in A-Level history, she has fallen back in love with the subject. Her confidence has increased, as has her engagement with her work. This is thanks to Elena’s approach, which is more of a coaching style to help my daughter think more critically about her own work and her learning, which is making a lasting impact.

We cannot recommend Elena enough. As a historian herself, she brought an incredible depth of knowledge and insight to the application process, helping our daughter shape a standout personal statement for Oxford History.

Her online tutorials were always impeccably punctual and structured, but what impressed us most was her ability to build an instant, warm connection. She made our daughter feel completely at ease with what can be a daunting process, taking the time to truly understand her personal strengths. Under her guidance, our daughter gained the confidence to express her own ideas articulately and authentically. We are so grateful for her support and expertise!

Elena has been tutoring my daughter in A level History. She has been able to enthuse and engage her, and the positive effects have already been evident in her mock exam results. I would not hesitate to recommend Elena for tutoring.
