About Zhann

As your tutor, my goal is to make learning clear, engaging, and confidence-boosting. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and practice.

I use a personalized, step-by-step approach. I first assess your current level and learning style, then break down complex topics into easy-to-understand parts. My sessions are interactive — we don’t just take notes. We discuss, solve problems together, and apply what we learn to real-life examples so concepts truly stick.

What makes my tutoring different is my commitment to both academic results and student confidence. I’m patient, approachable, and professional. I create a safe space where no question is “too small” to ask. My focus isn’t just on helping you pass — it’s on helping you understand, so you can do it on your own.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered approach. I don’t just lecture - we work together. I start by understanding what the student already knows, then break down difficult topics into simple, step-by-step explanations. I use real-life examples, visuals, and practice problems so the student doesn’t just memorize, but actually understands. I also encourage questions and mistakes because that’s where real learning happens.

A 1-hour session with me usually looks like this:
Warm-up 5 mins: Quick review of what we did last time + check homework/questions
New Concept 20 mins: I explain the topic clearly with examples and visuals
Guided Practice 20 mins: We solve problems together. I guide, but the student does the work
Independent Practice + Summary 15 mins: The student tries 1-2 problems alone, then we summarize key takeaways and set goals for next time

What makes me different is that I’m patient and adaptable. Every student learns differently, so I adjust my pace and explanations to fit you. I focus on building confidence, not just grades. My goal is for you to leave each session saying “Oh, now I get it!” instead of feeling more confused. I’m also very approachable - you can ask me anything, even "basic" questions.

My lessons are for elementary students, especially . I can tutor subjects like Math, Science, and English. I also help students who are preparing for exams, need help with assignments, or just want to strengthen their foundations. Beginners to advanced students are all welcome.
