About Pranil
I’m a graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a strong background in Maths and Physics. During university, I often helped my classmates with Maths and Electronics after regular classes, which gave me experience explaining tricky concepts in simple ways. I also spent two years teaching in India, working with students at different levels and helping them improve their understanding and confidence. I try to make lessons practical, interactive, and stress-free, so learning feels rewarding rather than overwhelming. Outside tutoring, I’m a massive car enthusiast — I spend a lot of time watching car restoration videos on YouTube or going for drives in my Mazda MX-5. I also enjoy technology and problem-solving, and I love showing students how what they learn connects to the real world.

I like to keep my lessons clear, practical and focused on the student. Every student learns differently, so my first priority is to understand where you are right now and what you want to achieve — whether that’s improving grades, catching up on tricky topics, or building confidence before exams. In each lesson, I usually start with a quick recap of the previous session, then explain new ideas step by step using examples that make sense. I believe in learning by doing, so I encourage students to solve problems with me rather than just listening. Towards the end, I go through past paper questions or set short tasks to make sure the topic is really understood. I teach: • GCSE Maths and Physics • University-level Electrical & Electronics Engineering subjects My aim is not only to help students get better results but also to make the subject less stressful and maybe even enjoyable. I try to keep lessons interactive and positive so that students feel motivated, not pressured.
