About Mandy
Hi! I’m an electrical engineering student who’s always been drawn to subjects that have clear logic and real-world applications. I’ve never been much of a fan of studying things without solid explanations — which is why I love STEM. What I enjoy most about math and physics is the problem-solving side of it — figuring things out step-by-step until it makes sense. I’d describe myself as patient and detail-oriented, because I know firsthand how tough it can be to really understand these subjects. I take my time explaining concepts and always try to connect them to real-life examples so they actually make sense. Outside of school, I’ve danced ballet my whole life, was my high school’s cheer captain, and now I’m part of my university’s cheer team. I started tutoring partly to earn some extra money, but also because I know teaching others will help me strengthen my own skills too. My lessons are best for middle school and high school students who might be struggling with math or physics — especially those who need things explained in a clear, practical way.

I’m an electrical engineering student who loves helping others understand math and physics in a clear, practical way. My teaching style focuses on building real understanding through step-by-step explanations, visuals, and lots of practice. I make sure students not only know how to solve problems but also why the methods work.
I usually work with middle school and high school students, teaching math up to Advanced Functions and Calculus, and physics up to Grade 11. I adapt every lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, creating a comfortable environment where they can ask questions and gain confidence in their skills.
