About Reece

With over a decade of dedicated experience supporting students across English Literature and English Language curriculums, I bring passion and expertise to every tutoring session. My journey in education has been driven by a deep commitment to helping students unlock their potential in English, from building foundational reading skills in Key Stage 3 to mastering complex literary analysis at A Level. Currently working as a Librarian/Teacher at a Secondary School with students aged 11-15, I specialise in delivering personalised 1-1 and group sessions focused on English and Literacy development. This hands-on experience has given me invaluable insights into the specific challenges students face with different examination boards and curriculum requirements, allowing me to provide targeted support that delivers real results. My academic background includes a Master's Degree in History from the University of London (2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Hertfordshire (2014), which provides students with rich contextual understanding that brings literary texts to life. This interdisciplinary approach helps students appreciate the historical and cultural contexts that shape literature, making their analysis more sophisticated and engaging.
