About Aadi

As a student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I bring a strong technical foundation and a passion for problem-solving to my tutoring. During high school, I gained valuable teaching experience working as a coding teacher, helping students navigate programming concepts and develop their technical skills. Having graduated from high school in 2025, the core academic material is still fresh in my mind, allowing me to connect easily with students and understand their challenges. My background includes extensive leadership and hands-on experience in competitive robotics, where I spent years mentoring team members, breaking down complex engineering concepts, and guiding designs from ideas to reality.

Whether a student needs quick, targeted help to get past a specific hurdle or a patient, step-by-step breakdown to truly master a difficult subject, I adapt my approach to match their learning style. My goal is to build both academic understanding and the confidence needed to tackle tough problems independently.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is centered on building a strong intuitive understanding of core concepts before diving into complex problem solving. I tailor each lesson to the individual student's learning speed, academic level, and specific goals, whether they are preparing for exams or working on practical projects.

A typical 60-minute lesson follows a structured format:

First 10 minutes: Reviewing previous concepts and addressing any questions or homework bottlenecks.

Next 25 minutes: Introducing new material using interactive problem solving and real-world examples.

Next 15 minutes: Guided practice where the student takes the lead on solving problems with real-time feedback.

Final 10 minutes: Summary of key takeaways, clarifying doubts, and setting up independent practice goals.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down highly technical, abstract concepts into manageable, logical steps, drawing from my own intensive engineering project backgrounds.
