About Sofia

Teaching has always been my vocation and now that I am taking a sabbatical, I am much more flexible and would love to meet more students.
I currently live in London with my husband and daughter, we have been here for 10 years now! I am quite an active person, I love yoga, jogging, skiing and any outdoor sport really :)

I like to design my lessons with the student at the centre so I like to know about your passions and interests before we start. I believe there must be a trustworthy and relaxed relationship between learner and teacher so that the learning takes place.

About the lesson

My lessons are usually 60 mins long and are catered for the individual learner. On the first lesson, 30 mins long, we will het to know each other and whilst you describe what your needs are, I will design a lesson plan for you.
We usually start with conversation, reading and writing and move on to grammar. I like to revolve the lessons around the student's interests so let me know your passions!

I have been teaching for the past 13 years to students of all ages. I have prepared them for exams and helped them write their university papers. I have taught in Italy, the USA, China and England (now my home country).
