About Elena
I have been giving lessons for over two years now, but have been working with young people for over four. I have taught over 40 students, both on a one-on-one and group basis. Every student I have tutored has gone on to achieve their target grade, or has surpassed this.
One of my jobs included teaching debating skills as an afterschool club, and the school that I mentored went on to compete in the national championships in London- the first year the school had gotten past the Manchester qualifying stages.

I am currently studying Politics and Modern History at the University of Manchester, averaging a first. I achieved an A* in English Literature and A in English Language at GCSE level. I also achieved an A* at English Literature A-Level so am well aware of the kind of writing style and focus that is needed to succeed academically.
I am based at M20 in Manchester but am willing and able to travel.
My lessons cater to the exact individual needs of the student, making each session as fun, engaging and interactive as possible. I provide focussed and structured guidance, with enthusiasm and encouragement throughout!
