About Victoria

I am someone who has always been extremely passionate about reading and writing. I grew up in a household that placed a lot on reading the written word. I want to encourage others to find themselves in books like I have. I have written several pieces and am currently in works to publish my first book. It is my goal to increase the literacy of those who tutor under me so that they gain skills they can use anywhere in their lives.

About the lesson

Teaching method: Montessori approach with activities that cater to the students age.

Lesson plan for Reading Comprehension:
A brief warm up period of discussing recent books and reading passages from age appropriate books.

An introductory period of the book for the week / month.

Games to expand the student's knowledge of reading (Flash cards for new words, new concepts about reading)

Reading the book aloud and discussing topics in the book.

She tutored me in high school and college.
I've pretty much known her since elementary school. SHE IS AMAZING! If she doesnt know the answer she will find it for you. And she always found fun ways to teach people.
I really wish she went ahead and pursued her desire to be a teacher cause she would be amazing.

I have known her for years, she is always the first one to try to help if someone is struggling.
She tutors my cousin on a regular basis and has always been so nice to him.
