About Gemma

I believe that mastering the English langauge and engaging with its literature can transform the way you engage with the world. I am a passionate reader and writer and love getting to know the literary preferences of my students. During my time tutroing in South Africa, I worked with students from other African countries and saw their lingusitic and writing abilites improve tremedously, as well as their love and appreciation for the English langauge and its literature.

About the lesson

I have taught students as young as 6 years old up until 2nd year university level and so I understand how to tailor lessons to students with different levels of abilities and different learning styles. I prefer to teach for an 1-1.5 hours at a time and on a regular basis.
