About Hernán

I'm an educator passionate about communication, learning, and helping people reach their goals. With a background in education and experience working in diverse learning environments, I understand that every student learns differently. That's why I believe in creating personalized, supportive lessons where you can feel comfortable, build confidence, and make real progress.

My approach to teaching English is practical, interactive, and focused on communication. I want you to do more than memorize vocabulary or grammar rules — I want you to feel confident using English in real-life situations, whether you're traveling, studying, working, or simply having a conversation.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and communication-focused. I believe the best way to learn English is to use it actively in meaningful, real-life situations. Rather than focusing exclusively on grammar and memorization, I encourage students to develop confidence, fluency, listening comprehension, and the ability to express their ideas naturally.
Each lesson is designed around the student's needs and usually follows four stages:

Warm-up and conversation: We begin with a short conversation to activate prior knowledge and build confidence.
New language and useful expressions: We explore vocabulary, expressions, pronunciation, or grammar.
Communication practice: Students apply what they have learned through role-playing, discussions, problem-solving tasks, and realistic situations.
Feedback and progress: We review achievements, correct common mistakes constructively, and identify specific goals for the next lesson.
My background in education has helped me develop strong communication, planning, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt learning experiences to different needs. I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment.

My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults who want to improve their English for everyday communication, travel, studies, or professional development. They are especially helpful for beginner and intermediate learners who want to strengthen their speaking and listening skills in a practical, supportive environment.
