About Johann

I believe in getting to know my students. When a student trusts you, they become more comfortable. That leads to a bigger learning capacity. I am aware that different students learn at different rates. Some might need some extra attention. I believe good mental health improves one's learning capability. I will not put unnecessary expectations on any student's shoulders. I am very patient and will work with students to get the best out of them. They can always expect a smile on my face and a positive outlook on life. I try to find the perfect balance between being a teacher and a friend.

About the lesson

Hi, my name is Johann. Students can expect me to analyze and evaluate their current level. I will use that as a foundation and develop their skills from there. My teaching methodology can differ, depending on the student. Some methods might work better for certain students than others. I've found that using different methods works well with online teaching. Some methods include visual representation, kinesthetic (movement), verbal etc. Having a conversation with the student or his/her parents helps to understand how to approach the lesson. I am fluent in Afrikaans and English. I can teach the following levels. - Beginner - Pre Intermediate - Intermediate - Upper Intermediate - Advanced
