About Aiza

As a University of London law student with an A* in English, I offer structured, personalised online tutoring in GCSE and IGCSE English Language and Literature. My approach combines clear explanations, detailed lesson notes and focused exam preparation to help students develop their analytical skills, strengthen their written expression and approach examinations with confidence.

I believe every student can make progress with the right guidance, patience and encouragement. I take pride in making complex topics accessible and ensuring that students understand not only what they need to learn, but also how to apply their knowledge effectively in exam questions. My lessons are carefully adapted to each student's needs, with an emphasis on genuine understanding, consistent improvement and independent learning.

I am committed to providing a professional, supportive and engaging learning experience in which students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges. Whether you are looking to strengthen your foundations or aim for the highest grades, I will work with you to build your confidence, refine your skills and help you achieve your academic goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach centres on clarity, structure and personalised learning. As a University of London law student with an A* in English, I bring strong language skills and an analytical approach to teaching GCSE and IGCSE English Language and Literature.

I tailor each lesson to the student's individual strengths, weaknesses and learning goals. My teaching methodology involves breaking down complex concepts into simple explanations, analysing texts in detail, developing essay-writing skills and practising exam-style questions. I place particular emphasis on helping students understand how to construct effective arguments, analyse language and literature, and meet assessment criteria. I also provide detailed notes during each lesson, allowing students to focus on understanding the material while having comprehensive resources to revise from afterwards.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, giving us enough time to explore key concepts, work through examples and address any difficulties. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace.

My lessons are suitable for GCSE and IGCSE students of varying abilities who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their written expression and develop confidence in examinations. Whether you are building your foundations or aiming for the highest grades, including Grade 9 where applicable, I will adapt my teaching to help you work towards your academic goals.
