About Preshani

Is your child struggling with homework, reading, phonics or English assignments?

I’m a qualified Speech Therapist with 14 years of experience working with learners from Grade R to Grade 5, and I’m passionate about helping children become more confident and independent learners.

My Speech and Language background allows me to look beyond simply completing schoolwork. I focus on understanding where a learner is struggling and finding ways to make learning clearer, more manageable and enjoyable.

Whether your child needs a little extra help with homework or ongoing support with reading and English, I aim to create a positive, encouraging and supportive learning environment where they can build both skills and confidence.

About the lesson

I offer personalised English tutoring and school support, including:

Reading support – developing fluency, comprehension and confidence
Phonics support – helping children understand letter sounds, blending and decoding
️ Homework assistance – providing guidance and support with daily English homework
Project & assignment assistance – helping learners understand tasks, organise their ideas and complete their work independently
English language support – vocabulary, spelling, grammar and written language
Communication skills – supporting learners to express themselves clearly and confidently
