About Faisal
Having privately tutored for over 3 years now, I have had over 60 students who have all met or succeeded beyond their target grade; majority attaining A grades and higher. My extensive tutoring experience, coupled with having achieved a grade 9 at GCSE maths and an A at a level allows me to demonstrate exceptional exam technique so that my students have the necessary understanding to master the curriculum.

Enthusiastic, friendly and eager to share my knowledge. My name is Faisal and I study Mathematics at Queen Mary University. Maths has always been a particularly strong subject of mine as well as the Sciences.
The ethos of every lesson I teach is that no student feels that daunting sense of worry about being left behind, and all students should have the means to succeed to the heights they work towards.
Application and understanding is key to acing your exams, so not only will I secure your knowledge of the subject but I will focus on tackling difficult exam questions so you are able to eventually feel comfortable with any questions the examiner may ask. Coupled with the use of exam questions, I use techniques such as active recall throughout the lesson to solidify my student's understanding and equip them for lifelong, efficient learning techniques.
I believe understanding is essential. I'm eager to break down every concept to the tee no matter how hard or easy it may seem. I ensure that no student ever feels as though they cant achieve the highest and will continue to target weak areas whilst keeping them engaged.
