My Approach as a Tutor
Teaching Methods & Techniques
My teaching approach centers on problem-based learning and practical context. Because mathematics is the language of engineering, I don’t just teach how to solve an equation—I show why the method works and where it applies. I rely heavily on visual diagrams, step-by-step problem breakdown, and guided practice to help students build intuition before tackling complex abstract problems.

Warm-Up & Recall (5-10 mins): A quick review of foundational concepts needed for the day's topic to ensure core gaps are addressed.

Concept & Application (15-20 mins): Introducing the core mathematical concept alongside a brief, real-world engineering or physical analogy.

Guided Problem Solving (15-20 mins): We solve problems together using a structured, step-by-step framework to build confidence.

Independent Practice & Review (10 mins): The student tackles a problem on their own while I observe, clarify doubts, and consolidate key takeaways.
