About Destiny

Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated educator with experience teaching elementary school students and supporting diverse learning needs. I hold a bachelor’s degree and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching at the University of Redlands, with a focus on K-12 and special education.
My passion is literacy development, particularly helping students strengthen their phonics, spelling, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and English language skills. Through my classroom experience, I’ve learned that every student learns differently, and I believe instruction should be tailored to meet their individual needs.
My goal is to create a patient, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing the foundational literacy skills they need for lifelong academic success.

My lessons focus on building strong literacy skills through phonics, spelling, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and English language development. I provide engaging, personalized instruction that meets each student's learning needs while building confidence, improving fluency, and fostering a love for reading.

**Tutoring Rates & Packages**

I offer affordable, personalized literacy tutoring with flexible scheduling options.

**Single Session:** $25 per hour

**5-Hour Package:** $110 (Save $15)

**10-Hour Package:** $200 (Save $50)

**In-Person Transportation Fees (Per Session):

0–5 miles: $5
* 6–10 miles: $10
* 11–15 miles: $15
* 16–20 miles: $20
* Over 20 miles Contact me for availability and pricing.

Online tutoring sessions have no transportation fees. All lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, focusing on phonics, spelling, reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and English language development.
