About Rachna

With a Master’s degree in English and a Bachelor of Education, I bring a strong academic foundation and a genuine appreciation for the richness of the English language and its literary traditions. My broader academic background in Hindi and Sanskrit has further strengthened my understanding of language, expression, and the connections between different linguistic traditions.

I regard English as far more than a subject to be studied; it is a powerful medium for communication, intellectual exploration, and creative expression. My interest in literature extends to the interpretation of poetry and prose, the analysis of ideas and themes, and an appreciation of the relationship between language and meaning.

As an educator, I value intellectual curiosity, clarity of thought, and a thoughtful approach to learning. I aspire to help students develop not only a sound command of English but also the confidence to articulate their ideas, the ability to think critically, and a lasting appreciation for the language and its literature.

About the lesson

My English classes are designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of the language, encompassing grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, written expression, and literary appreciation. Through clear explanations, structured lessons, and meaningful practice, I help students develop a strong command of English while fostering their ability to communicate with clarity and confidence.

Particular emphasis is placed on understanding grammatical principles, refining language skills, and exploring the themes, ideas, and literary techniques found in poetry and prose. Rather than relying solely on memorisation, I encourage analytical thinking, active participation, and a deeper understanding of the subject.

Lessons are adapted to individual learning needs and academic objectives, ensuring that students receive appropriate guidance and opportunities for improvement. My goal is to make learning English intellectually stimulating, academically rewarding, and practically valuable.
