About Megan

I love helping people learn, especially my passion subjects the English language, grammar, literature, and writing. I have been teaching for over 10 years and still one of my favorite joys in life is witnessing my students' success. Success looks different for everyone, so whether you are hoping for a higher test score (I had a 90% pass rate when I taught AP Language and Composition.) or to better understand what you read or how to articulate your thoughts through writing, I can help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My lessons vary from individual to individual. The first thing I do is determine my student's goals and then construct a personalized pedagogical plan for the individual. Students are human beings and one size never fits all. I have taught all ages from sixth grade to undergraduate students as well as all levels including honors and AP students. I prioritize the individual first and foremost to assess the best way to convey information, achieve good communication, and elicit understanding.
