I believe in learning through experience, so students often practice speaking from day one, gradually improving their language comprehension and communication skills.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): Conversation starters or a quick activity to engage the student and set the tone.
Main Lesson (25-30 minutes): Focus on a specific language skill (speaking, writing, listening, reading) based on the student's goals. For example, we might practice conversational English with a focus on idioms or work on grammar structures in context.
Wrap-Up (5-10 minutes): Review key takeaways from the lesson and assign practice tasks or homework. I often provide feedback on areas of improvement to reinforce learning.
