About Masilo

Hello, my name is Makola Masilo. I am a university student with a strong passion for Maths and Science and for helping other learners succeed. I became interested in tutoring because I had a teacher who believed in me, sat with me, and studied with me until I understood, and that support changed my academic journey. I want to be that same support for you — patient, dedicated, and focused on making difficult work simple and helping you build real confidence and better results.

About the lesson

My lessons are unique because I focus on true understanding, not just memorising the textbook. I don't lecture at you, I sit with you and study with you until the work makes sense. I break down difficult topics into simple steps, teach you how to think like the examiner, and show you exactly how to structure your answers to earn marks. Every lesson is patient, practical, and focused on helping you gain confidence and improve your results.

I’ve known Masilo since we did matric together, and he’s also a close friend of mine. He has a natural ability to explain Maths in a clear and simple way, especially when I’m struggling with a topic. He’s patient, encouraging, and makes sure you actually understand instead of just memorising. I would definitely recommend him to any student looking to improve their Maths.
