Teaching Method and Techniques: I aim to make mathematics both approachable and exciting, using a mix of interactive learning, real-world applications, and visual aids. I break down complex problems into simpler, manageable steps, ensuring that every student thoroughly understands each concept before moving forward. My approach focuses on building confidence through consistent practice and tailored support.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): A brief review of previous concepts to reinforce retention.
Introduction to New Concept (15-20 minutes): A clear explanation of the topic, with examples and visual aids.
Guided Practice (15-20 minutes): Students and I solve problems together, allowing me to provide immediate feedback and clarification.
Independent Practice (10-15 minutes): Students apply the new concept on their own, with me offering assistance as needed.
Review and Wrap-Up (5 minutes): A quick recap of the lesson's key points and assignment of extra practice for continued learning.
What Sets Me Apart: With five years of teaching experience and being in my final year at Mount Kenya University, I bring both in-depth subject knowledge and a diverse set of teaching techniques. I understand that every student learns differently, and I adapt my approach to suit their specific needs. My focus is on creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment, making sure every student feels confident in tackling mathematical challenges.

Who the Lessons Are For: I offer tutoring for students from Year 5 to Year 12, including those studying under the IGCSE, Edexcel, or Kenyan curricula. Whether you're preparing for exams like the IGCSE, Edexcel GCSEs, or just need help grasping concepts at any level, my lessons are customized to meet your academic goals. Whether you're seeking reinforcement, exam preparation, or enrichment, I ensure the lessons are personalized and effective.
