About Pragya

I am a passionate and dedicated educator who truly loves teaching and inspiring young minds. For me, teaching is not just a profession, it is something I genuinely enjoy every single day.

I am fluent in English, which allows me to communicate clearly and effectively with students from diverse international backgrounds, making lessons smooth, comfortable, and engaging for every child.

Beyond teaching, I am a creative and energetic person. I enjoy drawing and dancing, which often reflects in my teaching. I love making lessons visual, fun, and full of energy. My students often tell me that my classes never feel boring!

I am also passionate about an active lifestyle — swimming, cycling, badminton, basketball, and billiards keep me energetic and disciplined, values I naturally bring into my teaching as well.

I love to travel, explore new places, meet new people, and try new cuisines. This curiosity about the world keeps me open-minded and culturally aware, which I believe makes me a better teacher for international students.

My life's philosophy is simple — live fully, learn always, and make every day count. I bring that same enthusiasm and positivity into every single class I teach.

About the lesson

Hi there! I'm Pragya. If your child struggles with reading, writing, or just finding the right words — I'm exactly who you've been looking for!

I offer personalized, one-on-one online English tutoring for students from Years 1 to 9 (Grades 1-8), covering all major curricula and boards — British, American, IB, ICSE, and CBSE.

Every student learns differently, which is why I create fully customized lesson plans tailored to each child's individual pace, strengths, and weak areas. No one-size-fits-all approach here — ever.

My teaching style is highly interactive and engaging. I use real-life examples, creative activities, and visual tools to make grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing feel exciting rather than overwhelming. My students don't just memorize rules — they actually understand how the English language works and how to use it confidently.

Each session runs for 45 to 60 minutes — enough time for concept explanation, practice, and doubt-clearing, all in one class.

With 3+ years of online teaching experience, I've helped many students improve their reading, strengthen their writing, build their vocabulary, and most importantly, find their voice in the English language.

Whether your child is struggling with the basics or needs to polish their skills for exams, my classes are designed to meet them exactly where they are and take them further.

Let's make English your child's strongest subject. Book a free trial session today!"

I highly recommend Pragya as I've seen a noticeable improvement in my nephew's reading and vocabulary since he started classes with her. Earlier he wasn't able to pronounce the words properly but now gradually he is becoming proficient in English. Lots of gratitude to Pragya for such amazing results.

I'm happy to recommend Pragya Jain as an excellent English teacher for young learners. She has been teaching my daughter in Grade 2, and her progress in reading and writing has been wonderful to see.

Pragya makes basic English — grammar, vocabulary, and sentence formation — simple and fun for children to learn. She is friendly, patient, and genuinely caring, which makes kids feel comfortable and confident in her class. My daughter always looks forward to her English lessons.

I truly appreciate the strong foundation Pragya is helping build, and I highly recommend her to any parent seeking a friendly and skilled English teacher for their child.

What stood out to me is how structured Pragya's math classes are — regular practice, timely revisions, and clear feedback on where I am going wrong. It's helped me improve steadily instead of just cramming before tests

Pragya is one of those rare teachers who's equally good with English and Math, and also great at homework support. My kids never feel overwhelmed with her — she keeps things simple, structured, and encouraging no matter the subject.
