About SOURAV KUMAR

I have experience teaching Computer Science at NYCTA, a computer coaching center, along with private tuitions in History, Mathematics, and Geography for students from Class 1 to Class 8. Over the years, I have worked with students of different age groups and learning styles, which has helped me understand how to explain even the most difficult topics in a simple, relatable way.
Outside of teaching, I am also a content creator, which has sharpened my communication skills and my ability to explain complex topics through storytelling — something I bring into my classes as well, especially for subjects like History and Geography.
I believe every student learns differently, and my job is not just to complete a syllabus, but to make sure the student actually understands and enjoys the subject. I am patient, approachable, and always ready to adapt my teaching style to what works best for each individual student.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy researching historical events and current affairs — something that keeps my teaching fresh and connected to real-world examples.

About the lesson

I'm an experienced teacher specializing in History, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Geography for students from Class 1 to Class 8. My teaching approach focuses on making concepts simple and easy to understand, rather than just memorizing facts and formulas.
For History and Geography, I use storytelling and real-life examples to make lessons interesting and memorable. For Mathematics, I break down problems step-by-step so students build strong fundamentals and confidence. For Computer Science, I focus on practical, hands-on learning suited to the student's age and level.
Each class is personalized based on the student's pace and school curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board). My goal is not just to help students score better in exams, but to build genuine interest in these subjects.
I'm flexible with mode of teaching — online classes, offline classes at my place, or I can also come to the student's home for personalized one-on-one sessions.
