About Harsha
Hello! I’m an experienced and passionate teacher with 19 years of teaching experience, including school teaching as well as home and online tutoring.
I have always enjoyed working with children because every child is different. Some learn quickly, some need more time, and some simply need a different way of explanation. I love finding that approach that makes a child say, “Oh, now I understand!”
I want to share my knowledge because I believe education is not just about marks or completing a syllabus. It is about giving children strong basics, confidence and the ability to learn independently.
Over the years, I have learned that when children enjoy learning, they understand better and remember for longer. That is why I try to make my classes simple, interactive and enjoyable.
I would love to use my experience to help your child learn with confidence and develop a genuine interest in learning.

My teaching style is interactive, activity-based and personalised.
I first understand the child’s current level, strengths and areas where they need support. I then plan lessons according to their individual learning pace.
For younger children, I use phonics, stories, pictures, games, activities, props and real-life examples to keep them engaged. For primary students, I combine clear explanations with practice, questioning and application-based activities.
I also believe in regular revision and small assessments so that parents can understand their child’s progress.
Most importantly, I create a comfortable environment where children are not afraid of making mistakes. I encourage them to ask questions, try again and learn from their mistakes.
My aim is simple: understand first, practise next, and then build confidence.
