About Annabella

My business stands out because I not only tutor kids in middle school, but also high school students. I have had a lot of experience tutoring kids in school with hands on learning everyday for an hour. It was an eye opening experience to be able to give back and help out those that struggled in subjects like Calculus, British Literature, and Psychology. I have been a tutor for the past 3 years at my high school. In my senior year I tutored about 3 kids a day while also balancing my own grades and work. I was a A+ student all 4 years of high school. I graduated with a high school diploma and with high honors.

In high school and during the summertime I would spend time tutoring young kids. I tutored kids in 6th-8th grade in math and Language Arts/Reading during the summer. In school I tutored kids in Geometry, Calculus, Algebra, and all forms of English classes.

I have a high school diploma. I spent 3 years in high school tutoring kids my age or younger. I was apart of National Honor Society which volunteered in tutoring. Then I also was apart of a club called Future Educators of America, where I tutored everyday for an hour. I tutored in all subjects and worked with about 3 or 4 students a day.

About the lesson

I go over wth them what the know first so I can get an understanding of what I am working with. Then after I have assessed that I incorporate what they know alongside new information. I go overboard things repeatedly so that it is better understood. Then I give many practice problems or review everything we went over together.

I have worked with students of all ages, from middle school to high school. I’ve worked with students that were struggling to graduate or pass a class and other students that were doing very well in school, but wanted some extra help.

Make sure that they are what you are looking for and that they spend as much time trying to help you as possible. Try and find someone who has recently done the work you are doing, so that they have better recollection of the work.

A classmate of mine was struggling to pass Calculus in her senior year. She had failing grades and was worried she wasn’t going to graduate. I worked with her everyday for 6 months and was able to help her bring her grades up. She was struggling so much she wanted to drop out, but we kept at it and she managed to pass the class and graduate.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should really ask if they really need a tutor or if they just want extra help. They should establish how long they plan of having a tutor and how much help they need. Let their teacher know if they are of top priority.

The pricing for my lessons will be about $16 an hour. I know tutoring can be a bit pricey so I will try and make it an inexpensive as possible.
