About Sofia

I have personal experience in being a non-traiditonal learner and student with ADHD and Anxiety. I love helping people find alternative ways of taking in information and learning to help them succeed in whatever subject they may be struggling in. Every student can be a better learner when they are provided an opportunity to understand information in a different way than what is considered to be a "typical" learning style. In these unprecidented times, students need access to empathy and patience.

I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology so I have a deep understanding of mental health, socio-economic status, race, and gender studies. I have a passion for learning, gathering research and writing.

About the lesson

Get to know them, find out what they like and how they like to learn. What are they struggeling with specifically? Are they comfortable with research on their own? What are their study habits? Questions like these can help me figure out if we'd be a good match.

Take note of your struggles and your strengths so you can articulate your needs and advocate for yourself as a student.
