Amanda is a highly skilled instructor. She has the ability to communicate in ways that are beneficial for all ages. She is patient, kind and very reassuring. My husband has worked with her to help him with writing as he has dyslexia and had a stroke. She instills in you the desire to learn and to succeed without making you feel she has unrealistic expectations. You always come away feeling cared about and inspired. She can make challenging subjects seem more easy to learn. She’s very motivating. Anyone seeking tutoring with be extremely pleased with her. I personally find her an inspiration and would have loved having her teach me when in school. I would have loved school even more. My husband calls her his teacher

She was very patient with me when trying to fix minimal grammar errors. She also takes her time explaining what you did wrong and explains it very clearly. Overall very good tutor.

I was actually a student of Mrs Kenney when she taught English at our high school. She was always interacting with the class , checking on everyone, and overall showed she cared and loved her job. She covered everything she needed to in the allotted time and never got angry or upset for having to take extra time for someone. She’s very dedicated to her job and helping students grow and expand their learning. Everything from spelling,grammar,punctuation, etc. she covered it all loved doing it and always had the students respect and attention.

She was an AMAZING teacher/tutor!! No matter how brilliant or below average you were she always made you feel good about yourself!! She has a wonderful personality that will make you feel calm and comfortable. She will connect with you on any level but most importantly she always believes in you to be successful!! Shes smart, responsible, respectful, RELIABLE, kind, and is always in your corner! I’ve never met a teacher who can make you feel so smart and so comfortable being yourself. If anyone needs a tutor I recommend her times 10!!

She’s the most amazing teacher I have ever had and anybody would be lucky enough to have her. I’ve learned so much from this women, I wouldn’t have made it through the things I did without her.

Very great and Knowledgeable individual. I had her for my English class in high school and she teaches more than just English, she also teaches life lessons and kindness in everything she does. She’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and amazing at what she does.😊

Mrs. Kenney is a great tutor and amazing to work with! She is always super helpful and encouraging. She helped me understand difficult topics and helped me with reading comprehension. She also helped me with grammar mistakes and improved both my writing and speaking through presentations and projects. Overall, she is a great person and amazing tutor.

I loved having Ms. Kenney as a teacher! She was always in an upbringing and positive mood which time and time again lit up the room. She always showed the same respect to everyone and it showed time and time again with her winning multiple “Teacher of the Year” awards during her tenure at WASHS. Having her in class made the material extremely easy to understand. During lecture she rarely got off topic, yet always kept classroom conversation engaging as well as relevant and helpful. Overall, Mrs. Kenney is to this day one of my favorite teachers ever.

She is absolutely the sweetest and most patient person I have ever met. She is willing to work with you and you can tell she loves what she does and she cares about her students. She goes above and beyond what she needs to do and she makes sure her students get what they need out her lessons. She is absolutely one of the best teachers out there! She was very helpful with any questions students had and was always there to talk or help out with something. She always went out of her way to make sure students were comfortable and understood material. Her class greatly improved the confidence I had in myself and I attribute a lot of that to her help!
