About Paul

English has always been a subject I've excelled at in school. With consistent high marks and positive comments from teachers, I plan to use my service to help anyone become a better writer. To me, tutoring is more than a job since I view it as a privileged opportunity to work progressively alongside someone. I am also currently an ELC tutor at a local community college.

I love working with other people and watching them progress in their skills each week. I think tutoring is unique and unlike any other job since it is mutually beneficial on both ends. Not only does the student improve in a certain subject but the instructor is also left feeling gratified and accomplishd.

I've recently started teaching however my interest in tutoring has stuck with me since elementary school. After experiencing the kind of impact teachers had on my learning, I wanted to do the same for others in the future. So now that I'm in a position to do so, I hope to not only help others succeed but also leave a footprint in their academic journey.

Throughout all of high school, I've taken high-level English classes and managed to accel in them with high marks. Currently, in college, I am still able to consistently obtain exceptional grades in English courses.

About the lesson

My typical process for working with someone new is to get to know them a little more to understand what exactly they need help with. Afterward, I offer a breakdown of the various skills I'm able to teach and help them succeed in.

I've worked with mostly college students however I am open to working with people of all ages.

I would say to look for someone who truly has a passion for what they teach. From personal experience, I've realized that the most memorable instructors were the ones who viewed tutoring as something more than a job.
