About Aditi

Hey! With kids needing extra help during these trying times, Aditi is happy to help your kid through tutoring. Aditi graduated this May from NYU with a Master's degree in International Relations. She has been tutoring kids ranging from grades 1 to 10 for 6 years. She has extensive experience tutoring kids in English, History, Art, and Social Sciences. She is also great at helping with college applications, public speaking, and general writing or presentation skills. As an enthusiastic tutor with a penchant for teaching, Aditi would be happy to tutor anyone who needs her help within these areas!

My favorite thing about this job is that I see that my lessons make an impact on the student's growth. That is my top priority!

Throughout high school, college, and gradate school, I was tutoring kids. I helped them with english literature, poetry, public speaking, classwork, presentation skills, speechwriting among other valuable skills. I have been tutoring for a total of six years and continue to do so.

About the lesson

When approaching a new student, I build a profile for the student. I understand the student's stregnths and weaknesses as well as their goals. I want to know what their barriers to success are so I can work to eliminate them. I don't like taking short cuts, and want to make a lasting impact on my students. I want to make sure our sessions result in long-term growth. I ensure that I'm teaching my student in a way that is best for them! I have various teaching techniques and I cater them to the needs or prefernces of each individual student.

I have worked with students from grades 1 to 12 so it's been a pretty wide range!
