About Shruti

Hey there.

My name is Shruti, and I am a highschooler myself. The pandemic made me take up teaching as a part-time job to keep myself entertained. I can understand what a normal learner might find difficulties in while learning the language as I, myself am a student and english isnt my first language as well. I have the experience of a learner which I am willing to share with all of you. We can make learning a very easy process with a friendly environment as comfort will be my main goal. I believe that once you feel comfortable, asking doubts and discussing becomes enjoyable and interesting. I would love to make this process interactive because I would love to hear your opinions on topics as well. Together, we can make learning better. Please feel free to join me.

This is my first time. I dont think it is something one should look down upon though, there is a first for every experience. I am a learner myself when it comes to teaching.

I have finished my high-school and have studied the english curriculum for 12 years of my life.

About the lesson

I try to listen to students as much as possible. Their doubts and concerns are my biggest priority. Then I move onto solving them by giving tips and advices on how to improve to the best of my ability and ensure they are satisfied.

Find a teacher who you feel an ease to interact with. It'll be a waste of time otherwise, even if she might be the most knowledgeable and experienced teacher this platform could have.

A recent event I am fond of might give the reader mixed feelings, which is understandable because I share a similar feeling. My best friend recently lost her father in the pandemic. Like a natural daughter would feel about this situation, we all expected her to be devastated and depressed about the situation. But my friend manages to amaze be with her emotional strengths. She is facing the situation head on! She is doing everything to get her life back on track and this has made me take up teaching. I really want to take up this new challenge too. Not only will it be a learning experience for me but I also want to give everything I earn out of this to my best friend, to help her in any way possible. This is for her.

Students shouldn't shy away from asking their queries in a subject like english. Feel free to interact and ask. Your doubts might now be as stupid as you think they are, everything is important and valid.
