About Tyra

My service will stand out amongst all others because I am young, energetic and have not been out of school for years at time. I understand the tools and methods teachers are currently using. I tailor each session to the each students specific needs. I have tutored and aided homework help with multiple of my younger siblings.

I enjoy interacting with the students and helping them grow into successful individuals the most. I understand and know first hand that school can be challenging at times, especially when there is none home that can help you because they were not taught the same methods that teachers use now.

Many of my younger siblings have needed help with their homework.

-courses taken: English 5+ years, Public speaking, Research& Technology, Senior thesis writing.

- Aiding and homework help of children ages 5-11.

About the lesson

My typical process with working with a new student is an initial consultation. This is where I will speak with the student about their school, teachers, homework, areas they need help in, areas they excel in and hobbies and interest that they enjoy. I will then tailor a lesson plan and course of action that will be reviewed and sent to the student the following week. Each week will be tailored to meet the student schedule and areas of concern, if additional help is needed I will find worksheets and documents for the student to complete in order for them to constantly refresh their brain on the skills they learned during our tutoring session.

Ages between 5-11 years old.

Look for a teacher that will help you succeed in life and in your educational needs. Also search for those that will tailor to your needs, as this is designed to help you thrive.

A recent event I am fond of is being able to help siblings and their friends with their school work during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
