Winter has been very helpful in my son's reading skills. He's kind of young, but she has been tutoring him in letter recognition, letter sounds, and sight words. She calls this early reading. He's able to remember the letters & sounds she taught him because she gave us (his parents) the skills to use when she isn't working with him so that we're all on the same page.

My daughter is 5 and just beginning to read. Ms. Winter was my child's preschool teacher, but was temporarily out of work due to Covid-19. She has been tutoring my daughter in early reading and my daughter has been sounding out short words on her own when we read before bed. I am very happy with Ms. Winter as a tutor and (previously) as a teacher for my daughter!
