About August

I've been tutoring my fellow students since 2013 when I was a senior in high school to my students today in every grade level of reading and all social sciences from AP European and American history to 6th grade geopgrahy and human studies.

the success that comes later from the students who didn't think they could do it :)

Helping senior graduate my senior year of high school and realizing how badly people like that are needed.

3 years lead tutor at the university of south florida's tutor a bull program at Buchanan middle and Middleton high school.

degree in secondary social science education from USF.

3 years teaching secondary social science education from 6-12 in marion and alachua county.

About the lesson

Talking to them and their parents about problem areas and the ways them like to learn, what they're struggling with most and how best they think to tackle it. I can give plenty of examples of how I've helped tuttees conquer struggles.

All types of students from the highst performing from those who have test read to them bc their reading skills are on a 4 year old level in the 8th grade. My proudest accomplishment is helping a student like that finally learn to read in the 8th grade after practicing for 16 years, I couldn't have been prouder.

If you're loooking for someone to push you but also listen to you and where you're struggling with your schoolwork, I have the proven track record to help. Just know, no matter how much tutoring you get it won't be enough until you want to succeed yourself! have a great 2020 and be safe :)

Getting more experience with online schooling thanks to the pandemic! I got into education with the idea this was the future and I still totally believe that :)
