Greetings,

My name is Bereket, and I am a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University. I am passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and love sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I have been tutoring for more than 10 years.

Working with me is an engaging and supportive experience. I understand the challenges that students face when tackling complex STEM subjects and can help them break down complicated concepts into more manageable pieces. I have experience teaching and mentoring students, and I know how to adapt my teaching style to match each student's needs and learning pace.

Perfect! Bereket is an incredible tutor. Even before our first session started he showed that he was 100% committed to my success. He had prepared for our session beforehand by reading the complete textbook chapter and looking over the course material. He knew the syllabus and what was expected for the course better than I did. Then, when it came to teaching, he has more knowledge than my professor. He can take the most complex organic chemistry concepts and make them easy. Even I, who has struggled through orgo, was able to understand and do well with his guidance.

He is completely there for whatever the student needs. Whether it is help with homework, understanding the course material, or preparing for an exam, Bereket will be there for you in every capacity. He treats your coursework as his own and is very concerned about making sure you not only succeed but understand the material.

Furthermore, Bereket is incredibly professional. He is punctual, often arriving to our meetings 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time. He also makes himself available to stay tutoring students as long as is needed. Bereket has literally woken up in the early hours of the morning with me before midterms to help me prepare, stayed with me late in the night to complete homework assignments, and taken the initiative to call me after exams to see how I did and felt. He genuinely cares a lot about his students and work.

I couldn't ask for a better tutor than Bereket and I am so glad that I was able to meet him through this website. I could not recommend him enough! He goes above and beyond for students. He will make sure you understand chemistry all while being motivating, kind, honest, and funny. I really enjoy learning from Bereket. 5 stars cannot capture how incredible his teaching really is!
