About Laura

I am new to tutoring However, in my high school I did do the teacher assistant program and I did help students out. In my resume it shows that I went to two separate school to be a teacher assistant intern. In that time I did have to help students out with work and I’ve noticed that my biggest strength is in Math. I also have my personal experience with my little brother in which I always have to help out and Usually feel like I have to reteach him topics he doesn’t understand. I will cater to different learning styles and just want the student to understand the topic to the highest extent.

What I enjoy most about the ability to throw is helping people out. By making them understand they can be confident to take the test and pass and get good grades. I just like knowing that I can help someone understand something I know and love.

I have graduated higschool with honor roll. I also did a principles of teaching program at my high school that thought me how to be a teacher assistant. In that time I interned in two separate schools, Davie elementary and Indian ridge middle school which is in my resume. I have worked with kids before and I truelly enjoy helping them out.

In working with I new student I will find out their strengths and weekenesses on the topic. This may come in a form of a test or the student could let me know directly and at the end of teaching an assessment will be given. After finding it out I will find the students learning style by a learning style test or the student telling me directly. Then I will get straight to what the student is struggling with and work my way through their learning style.
