About Christine

20 plus years working as a classroom and private tutor with normative to special needs students. I'm dedicated to the family and believe parents are their child's first and most important teacher whose insights are invaluable. I see my service as part of a team and have long term work with many families. References will be provided upon request.

If I could change "what" to "who", my answer would be the children. My work is not to just "teach" a particular academic, my true service is to help children feel empowered to "know" what they’re learning. My style is Socratic in nature, involving my students in the process of their knowledge and skill.

About the lesson

Building a relationship. Private tutoring is just that. My sole focus in the time I have, is to develop trust in me and most importantly, confidence in themselves.

She is exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of education. From OT exercises, teaching my son how to use kitchen utensils and the proper way to eat in public, helping him to develop communication skills, acting as liaison between my sons school and home and so much more. My son is now graduating from Frostig school and on his way to PCC. INDEPENDENTLY! If you hire Christine you will be very happy and your child will receive outstanding care.
