About Jada
Everybody in my family has been some form of a teacher including a daycare teacher, high school teacher, and an elementary teacher. So I've decided to continue that legacy and hope that I'll be as great as they are at teaching.
I've grown up teaching younger kids than me from age 9. I started by teaching my siblings when they came home with english and math and eventually I started helping neighbors and eventually my mother started taking me to work with her to help with students during after school tutoring and I've been tutoring kids ever since.

I'd start by introducing myself and giving a little bit of background information then I'll ask my student a little bit about themselves and then we'll start on the area of the subject that they need help on, as I'm explaining how to complete the problem accurately, I'd frequently ask them is there anything they don't understand or that they don't grasp the concept of.
I've worked with students ages from 4-10, It brings my heart joy to be able to help students who feel like they're never going to be able to grasp the concept of what their learning and they'll come back to me after I've explained and helped them understand how the assignment works and they'll come back and show you how well they've done on the assignment.
My younger sister is in 2nd grade and she came home from school one day and she asked me could I help her with her homework and of course I said yes, I mean what kind of sister would I be to say no to her adorable self? So we're sitting at the table and im explaining to her how the problem works and she throws her pencil across the room and gets up from the table and storms away to her room. I immediately go after her and I proceeded to ask her "What's the issue, am I confusing you." She responded with, "No you're not, I just can't do it." So I give her a hug and I tell her, "Never say you can't do anything because if you put your mind to it you can do it. Now let's go sit back down and finish the problem, you can do this don't give up." So we go back to the table and I explained to her again how to complete the problem and as im explaining im giving her a demonstration using fingers and toes, she eventually understands and finishes her assignment on her own.
