About Soumitra

We are very well qualified professionals whose aim is to provide basic understanding of the subjects to students.

For us, if basics are not clear of a student, then we will make sure to explain in detail, get him an understanding of the foundations of the subjects / topics so that he/she is well prepared for any problems.

My name is Soumitra Sinha, and have majored engineering during my undergraduate and post-graduate studies from National University of Ireland, Galway. I have been using maths, stats/calculus/algebra/competition maths, science extensively on a regular basis for more than 9 years now, and tutoring for alomst 2 years (in India). Currently, i am still working as civil engineer but take out time to continue my passion of sharing knowledge and helping students as much as i can.

I will be one of the professional teaching students.

We are offering a free 45 minute session that will give you a chance to see if online tutoring with ourselves works for you or not.

We are flexible in terms of arranging the free demo anytime during the Weekends (Saturday or Sunday).

Help in to improve basic understanding and increase in confidence of students is what i always cherish.

Working with and helping my peers in undergraduate college.

I have also taught in various underpriviliged schools (for 2 months) in India to help students who have willingness and passion to study but cannot afford.

During my Masters degree course, i was a social volunteer in Kumon Group, Galway, Ireland where i was teaching Maths to Primary / Junior level students.

I have a Masters degree in Civil and Engineering from National University of Ireland.

I got a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology, Delhi, India.

About the lesson

Initially, start off geting to know the student's needs for learning (e.g. pass a course, ace a course, or other) and then work out the study plan accordingly.

I encourage students to try to do some homework (that I can assign) on their own time, and then work through it with them and assess their progress.

My peers, and my juniors (late teens and early twenties). My most recent was in her 30's.

I do not have experience with special needs students.

think it is really nice to have a set goal while starting tutoring , that really helps to keep both the student and teacher on track. Goals may change over time, but at each point the target should be known. Then discuss with the teacher what her/his plan is for achieving the goal.

Independence day of India

I would dress up in Indian traditional clothes and would dine in the Indian restaurants nearby with my International friends / colleageus to celebrate such victorious moment. People on street do give me glare though!
