About Elizabeth

I am a retired Special Education Teacher from Dallas Independent School District with 33 years of experience teaching students grade k-12. My Inclusive math areas at Adamson High School included Algebra I and Geometry with STAAR preparation test taking skills. While at Gill Elementary, I tutored students from grades K-5 and 7-8th graders at Hill Middle School. I only tutor at my home because I supervise my mother-in law who has alzheminers.

Students who find mathematics frustrating say' I can't do this', but when I break down the concept into small concrete steps they say, 'I got this!"
