About Jordan

Make learning fun and productive by spending 1 hour a day with an Honors UGA student. Have a tutor who is energetic and gets your child excited about learning. Jordan is a Hope Scholarship recipient who has tutored K-12 in Math, English, Scoeces and the Arts (such as dance and vocals). We offer affordable rates for every budget with a genuine concern for your child's educational future.

I have been doing it part time since 2018.



I have a High School diploma from a private school where I completely excelled, having graduated with a 4.2 GPA.  I was consistently on the Deans List. My Junior year I was accepted in to the National Honor Society.  During my Sophomore year I took an intense summer Biology course at Georgia Tech, a very competitive program that only accepts 15 students per year. My AP classes includes AP Chemistry, Physics, Algebra and US History.  I'm currently a Sophomore at UGA and made the Dean's List last Fall.  I have also taught at various educational and arts camps.

I contact the parents to understand where the child needs to most assistance.  I review past lessons, tests and other work to ensure I customize the session to focus on where to improve.  Then I create a new lesson around that area and once the child has a thorough grasp of the material, I develop a test.  Once the child has scored a B or above I move on to the next subject.  I make it fun and introduce learning games relevant to what's being taught.  I incorporate music and popular culture to provide real world answers to mathematic concepts.

Make sure you can connect on both a mental and emotional level.  A good teacher will vary their methods and approach in order to reach every child on their level.



Being accepted on to the Dean's List.  I work very hard and would love to help a child achieve a dream of academic excellence.



A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Most important is how would they keep the students interest?  How do they make it challenging without overwhelming the student?  How do they work with the student to set small and large goals?  How do they rears a student for success while encouraging even more greatness?
