About Chiara

I'm a third-year maths student at UCL and I'm currently on track for a 1st class. I graduated from the Italian high school with maximum grades. While studying in the Italian system, I have also completed and sat Mathematics both at GCSE and A Level. This helped me widen my teaching style to both the Italian and British system, allowing me to tutor both Italian and international students.

About the lesson

I started tutoring mathematics when I was fifteen and, since then, I've tutored students from primary to high school level. My methods change from person to person adapting to their needs. I provide notes and assign exercises as homework so that students can continue learning even after our lesson. I value independent learning and push my students to understand the material on their own, while guiding them through my experience. While tutoring Maths, I have learnt the importance of patience and empathy and I am open to adapt my style to the student. At the moment, I only tutor online, usually via Zoom or Meet. I have a very flexible schedule and I am available most days in the afternoon and evening.
