About Teena
I am a passionate and dedicated Chemistry teacher committed to inspiring students through engaging, student-centered learning. My teaching philosophy focuses on developing 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication, and problem-solving, while building strong conceptual understanding.
I believe in hands-on, inquiry-based learning that connects scientific concepts to real-life situations and makes learning meaningful and enjoyable. By using innovative teaching strategies, technology, and continuous assessment, I create an inclusive classroom where every student is encouraged to grow academically and personally.
I am committed to helping every learner reach their full potential through high expectations, personalized support, and data-informed instruction. My Teaching Approach
My lessons are designed to develop 21st-century skills by fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. I believe students learn best through hands-on, inquiry-based learning, where they actively explore scientific concepts through experiments, investigations, real-world applications, and collaborative activities.
I focus on concept clarity rather than memorization, using differentiated instruction, questioning techniques, visual models, and continuous formative assessment to ensure every student develops a deep understanding of the content. Learning is engaging, student-centered, and connected to everyday life, enabling students to confidently apply their knowledge in new situations.
Through data-driven instruction, targeted interventions, and regular feedback, I strive to ensure measurable academic growth for every learner. My goal is for each student to demonstrate significant improvement in understanding, confidence, and achievement while becoming an independent, lifelong learner equipped with the skills needed for future success.
