About Aman

I am a final year student at UCL studying Spanish and Portuguese. I achieved 9 at GCSE and an A at A level so would say I have an excellent understanding of the Spanish language. I recently spent a semester abroad doing an exchange in Montevideo, Uruguay so I have a near native command of spoken Spanish. Languages are essential to every aspect of the world and I truly believe those who study them are at a better advantage in terms of their mentalities and their futures. I want to help students achieve the best results possible.

About the lesson

I am all about what the student wishes to practise or focus on. As an Au pair in Madrid, I followed what the parents wished me to focus on with the student but I also added my own activities to engage the student more actively. Depending on which skill is desired to practise during the lesson, I can offer practice for translation, writing and speaking. I am happy to practise listening if the student has access to the exam board audios. I also recommend general speaking practice in order to gain more confidence in speaking Spanish naturally. The best thing I did was to practise past paper exams which I highly recommend and would be able to go through the paper with the student and we can do it during the lesson or I can mark a paper and go through what needs focusing on in the lesson. I would say that the lessons should be about an hour.
