About Jane

I have been a Spanish tutor for two years now to 5 students and I have loved seeing them all grow linguistically. This experience has strengthened my desire to be a high school teacher when I graduate which makes these lessons valuable for both tutor and student.

About the lesson

Having done the AQA GCSE and A-level in the past 5 years with a 9 and an A*, I understand the current system, what you need to know and how to get you there. From essay writing, to translation, to speaking and grammar, I can give you the skills to excel at your exams. Our first lesson will involve identifying your strengths and weaknesses, your learning needs and what you are preparing for. From there, for A-Level and GCSE students, we will practise translations and reading comprehension via articles and listening from AQA-approved excerpts. As a teacher, you can expect me to be patient, adaptable and supportive: believe me, I know how hard learning a language is! ¡Buena suerte con tu adventura española y espero que nos veamos muy pronto!
