About Laura

My math average at school has been in the high nineties for the last 10 years. I also frequently take extra math classes to expand my knowledge.

I am an assistant teacher at a math enrichment program, as well as a volunteer tutor at my school. I have taught all elementary school math before. I also have experience teaching in other places, like swim skills and French. I am a very empathetic person, and my goal is for you to understand math and feel confident in the subject.

About the lesson

I explain every concept thoroughly until you reach full understanding, and I make the lessons fun by including fun challenges as well as casual chats! I understand the math struggles that students feel (I have been there myself), and I act with empathy and confidence as I try to find the solution to your difficulty. I look forward to teaching you!
